Auroa Picture Show @ Discovery Green

Auroa Picture Show and Two Star Symphony prior to the screenings (7-8pm) for caped crusaders, masked marvels, secret identities, guys in tights and passion for helping those in need is what this screening is all about. Join us for an all ages show looking at the super hero in film and video past and present. Titles include: “How to be a Superhero” by Aqeel Ahmed, “Hebring” by Andi Martin, “Nemesis” by Stian Hafstad and others.

E_Merging II

E_Merging II will feature brand new works created for the DWDT dancers by two young artistic directors who are shaping the genre of contemporary ballet, our own Dominic Walsh and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano of Spain. World preimiere work by Dominic Walsh is set agianst artwork and installation by contemporary aritist Nicola Parente, with music created and performed live by Two Star Symphony.

Sansano has danced with many companies including the prestigious Nederlands Dance Theater II and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and has choreographed for companies around the world. He is now founder and artistic director of a newly formed company and currently creating his second work for NDT II. Sansano will grace Houston audiences with his athletic and innovative movement vocabulary.
